Puritan Reformed College (PRC) is Living Heritage's partner college — a confessionally Reformed, classical liberal-arts college in Grand Rapids, Michigan, sharing a campus with Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.
PRC offers a biblically grounded, classical liberal-arts education built on a two-year Core — twenty courses that form the shared foundation of every degree. The same convictions that shape Living Heritage — the authority of Scripture, the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, and education as discipleship — carry straight through into college.
And it's built for students near and far: a Grand Rapids campus paired with a blended learning model, on-campus intensives, and regional study centers — a worldwide classroom.

Ten courses of biblically grounded, Reformed liberal-arts education — a focused first step.

The full two-year PRC Core, satisfying the lower division of every bachelor's pathway.

BA in Biblical Studies
A pre-seminary pathway, with six courses dual-enrolled toward the M.Div. at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.

A broad, formative education in the classical liberal arts tradition, culminating in a Senior Thesis.

For students called to teach — in their own homes or in Christian schools. Modeled on Charlotte Mason's teacher's college (see below).
A teacher's college for today
Charlotte Mason's House of Education, reimagined for the 21st century.
Living Heritage is built on the Charlotte Mason method — and PRC's BA in Christian Education is built on Charlotte Mason's own teacher's college, the House of Education, brought as faithfully as possible into the 21st century.
It's designed for two callings at once: future homeschool parents who want to teach their own children well, and future teachers headed into Christian schools and other educational settings. The same living-books, discipleship-driven philosophy you know from Living Heritage — now studied at the college level. Go deeper with the Great Texts, learn the Charlotte Mason philosophy through her writings and in comparison to other paradigms, study narration-style pedagogy and assessment, drawing instruction through nature notebooks, art appreciation, music, science, math as a liberal art — all with an emphasis on Reformed, experiential piety that teaches to the heart.

Especially for Living Heritage families
Living Heritage high schoolers earn an automatic scholarship.
Complete grades 9–12 with the Living Heritage Homeschool curriculum, and you automatically qualify for PRC's Preparatory Education Scholarship — $1,200 per year.
The Preparatory Education Scholarship rewards students who arrive at college well prepared. Documented completion of four years (grades 9–12) of the Living Heritage curriculum qualifies you automatically — no competition required. It renews all four years with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment.
It can also stack with PRC's other awards. Students in PRC's founding class receive an automatic Inaugural Class Scholarship of $2,000 per year, and additional scholarships are offered for academic merit and church community — so a well-prepared Living Heritage graduate can combine several awards. Keep good records of your books through high school: your completed four years of Living Heritage are the key to that automatic scholarship. (Hint: This is easy with Living Heritage + Syllabird!)

Puritan Reformed College's website and applications open in September 2026, with the first classes beginning Fall 2027. There's still plenty of time to finish strong with Living Heritage — and to be ready to apply the moment the doors open.
