Legal

Terms of Use.

How you may use this website and the Living Heritage curriculum.

What this is

Last updated: 2026-05-17. This is a placeholder draft and should be reviewed by an attorney before being relied on as the operative terms. The text below describes our intended terms.

Acceptance

By accessing this website or purchasing a Living Heritage plan, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.

License — single-family use

Each Living Heritage plan is licensed for single-family use only. You may use the plans, books lists, exams, and supplementary materials with the children in your own household.

You may not redistribute, resell, share with friends or extended family, or post any portion of the curriculum publicly. Co-ops wishing to use Living Heritage should contact us for a co-op license.

All curriculum content is the intellectual property of Dr. Becky Aniol and Living Heritage Homeschool.

AI tools and services. You may not upload, paste, submit, transmit, or otherwise share any portion of the Living Heritage curriculum — lesson plans, narration prompts, exams, training videos, festival materials, ebooks, printables, audio recordings, or any other Living Heritage content — with AI chatbots, AI assistants, large language models, AI training datasets, or any other AI service or tool, whether free or paid, public or private, for personal use or as part of a co-op, class, or school. This applies to both Living Heritage owners and any co-op or partner-school license holder. Living Heritage materials are not licensed for AI ingestion or output.

Refunds

Because Living Heritage products are digital and downloadable, all sales are final. Once payment is processed, plan purchases (Basic, Premium, Premium + Syllabird, individual à la carte courses, and Syllabird subscriptions) and co-op licensing fees (non-tuition co-op licenses, per-subject student licenses, and Partner School fees) are non-refundable.

We are unable to issue prorated, partial, or full refunds for co-ops or schools that disband, change scope, change leadership, or experience reduced enrollment during the school year. We warmly encourage co-op leaders to confirm family commitments and roster details before submitting an application and completing payment.

Try it before you buy. We make a full week of real lesson plans free for every grade — Basic and Premium — on our Samples page. Not sure which plan fits? Take the Find Your Fit quiz or browse the full plan comparison first.

Trouble accessing your purchase? That’s a different matter — reach out through the Contact form with the email address you used at checkout and the plan you bought, and we’ll get you access.

Membership

For Premium and Premium + Syllabird, the cycle itself (daily plans, books, exams, the full curriculum) is yours forever after your first purchase. What renews annually is the Premium benefits layer (G3+ courses, parent book group, forum, ongoing add-ons) and — for Premium + Syllabird — the Syllabird digital planner subscription.

Annual renewals charge on the anniversary of your purchase unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time in your member portal; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term and you keep lifetime access to the cycle's curriculum either way.

Basic is a one-time purchase with lifetime access. It does not renew.

Disclaimer

Living Heritage is a curriculum publisher, not an educational institution. We are not accredited; we do not issue diplomas or transcripts. We provide materials that parents use to educate their own children at home.

Each state has its own homeschool requirements. It is your responsibility to verify that Living Heritage meets the requirements of your state and to comply with applicable laws.

Limitation of liability

Living Heritage Homeschool's total liability for any claim arising from this site or our products is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. Some jurisdictions don't allow this limitation; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Living Heritage is based, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
