Four Groups, All in the Same Cycle
Age-appropriate reading and assignments for each child.
Each cycle is studied by three grade groups, so your school-age children move through history together — with the right work for each child's level. Kindergarten is a separate, cycle-independent plan.

Kindergarten
Short read-alouds, folk tales, classic picture books, poems, music listening, nature exploration, and optional gentle phonics and math. Together Time with the family.

Grades 1–4
Group 1
American history. Bible lessons. Literature read-alouds, narration, copywork, drawing lessons, music, geography, math, nature study, PE. Other history streams come in Group 2.

Grades 5–8
Group 2
Three history streams (American, Ancient, British) plus Civics. Bible study, classic literature, written narrations and grammar begin, art and music lessons, geography, math, biblical Greek as an elective, science, PE.

Full-credit courses. Classic literature (epics with MA or PhD instructor), theology + philosophy + apologetics by grade, government + economics, three history streams and church history, geography, art and music appreciation, Greek with PhD instructor (NT translation by Gr 12), writing instruction, Senior Thesis Research & Writing with PhD instructor (premium only), math, and LH living book lab-science courses.

The Heart of the Day
Together Time
About thirty minutes each morning, with everyone in the room. Scripture memory, a hymn, a catechism question, a poem, a piece of fine art or a few minutes of Shakespeare.
Together Time plans are included with every cycle — Basic, Premium, and Premium + Syllabird — and can also be purchased à la carte.
